We will be closed for our Easter holiday break from Monday 11th until Monday 25th April inclusive. We will also be closed on Monday 2nd May owing to the Bank Holiday (but running on Saturday 30th April).

We are currently looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated coaches to join our Cornwall team as part-time, Licensed Coaches (self-employed). You should have experience of children's football coaching (voluntary or employed) and working with under 5's (not necessarily in a sports capacity).

ABOUT SUPASTRIKERS

Established by Andy Tucker Soccer Camps in 2006, we have already had over 2000 members attending our weekly sessions, Playgroup sessions and birthday parties in and around Gloucestershire. In 2010, we came to Cornwall!

No. 1 Genuine expertise in working with this age group. Our approach will complement that of good playgroups and nurseries etc. We only employ coaches who genuinely WANT to work with this age group. Our Lead Coaches have all been trained by SupaStrikers to be able to adapt their existing football coaching knowledge to this special age group. Where possible, we usually work with a maximum ratio of 1 Coach:6 Children* and our groups are usually a maximum of 12 children. We also ensure that children are only with others of a very similar age.

* When there are 8 or fewer children at a new venue, we may run with only one

coach until membership numbers increase

No. 2 Attached to ongoing Football programmes. Each SupaStrikers Licensed Coach or Franchise-owner either operates or is in association with a high-quality football coaching programme aimed at school-aged children. This means that as our SupaStrikers members become too old for us, there is always a 'natural progression' route for them to continue enjoying their football development. In Cornwall, this link will be through Jamie's own, respected and long-established J Thomson's Soccer Camps programme.

No. 3 Football credibility - the children genuinely develop basic ball control skills that will give them an advantage when they join teams in later years.
