STOP PRESS:                                        (last updated Thursday 20th November 2008)

NEW SESSION STARTING IN WINCHCOMBE - JANUARY 2009:

We will be running a new 'Open' age group session in Winchcombe at 10.00-10.40am on Thursday mornings, from Thursday 8th January 2009.  Please contact us on 01452 555202 if you would like to book one of the limited places.

WORRIED ABOUT THE CREDIT CRUNCH?:

We don't want people to miss out on SupaStrikers because they are worried about a long term financial committment.  Therefore, if you would like to join one of the sessions shown in GREEN on our session timetable (via 'Times & Venues' link) between now and 31st December, all you need to do is pay the enrolment fee at the time of joining (this includes your child's first SupaStriker's football kit!) and you can pay a fee of £5.00 at each session you attend until at least April 2009 (this offer only applies to new starters and at the sessions shown in green - some other terms and conditions apply).  Please telephone us for further information on 01452 555202.

ENROLMENT FOR SUPASTRIKERS FROM NOVEMBER 2008? :

We are accepting bookings for children born between 1st September 2005 and 31st October 2006 to join our MiniStrikers sessions and for children born between 1st September 2004 to 31st August 2005 to join our MegaStrikers sessions (subject to conditions and availability)

FREE 'TASTER' VISITS FOR PLAYGROUPS, NURSERIES and TODDLER GROUPS etc

For such activities (voluntary or commercial) who have not already experienced a SupaStrikers session in action, we offer free 30-45 minute 'taster sessions' in locations close to existing SupaStrikers sessions.  Once you have had your 'taster', we offer ongoing 'casual' or 'regular' visits at very competitive rates (with up to 20% discount for regular bookings) 01452 555202 for details.

ABOUT SUPASTRIKERS

Established by Andy Tucker Soccer Camps in 2006, we have already had over 1000 members attending weekly sessions, as well as an active Playgroups and birthday parties programme.  There are three main reasons you can join SupaStrikers with 100% confidence:

PATA supporting childcare logoNo. 1 Genuine expertise in working with this age group. We are members of PATA, a national organisation who support those working with younger children to ensure high standards. Our approach will complement that of good playgroups and nurseries etc.  We only employ coaches who genuinely WANT to work with this age group. In addition to football courses, all of our coaches complete specialist training courses to develop their expertise in working with these age groups.  Where possible, we usually work with a maximum ratio of 1 Coach:6 Children* and most of our groups are maximum of 12 children (Saturday sessions run at larger venues with higher numbers, although the coaching ratio is maintained).  We also ensure that children are only with others of a very similar age.

       * When there are 8 or fewer children at a new venue, we may run with only one

          coach until membership numbers increase

Each SupaStrikers Licensed Coach or Franchise-owner either operates or is in association with a high-quality football      coaching programme aimed at school-aged children.  This means that as our SupaStrikers members become too old for us, there is always a 'natural progression' route for them to continue enjoying their football development.  For many Members in Gloucestershire, the link is still to Andy Tucker Soccer Camps, who originated SupaStrikers.  However, we also work in association with programmes run by our Licensed Coaches in North Gloucestershire and Worcestershire.

Cheltenham Captain, John Finnigan is enthusiastic about SupaStrikers, saying, “There are fewer English players playing in the premiership, as they do not have the technical skills to compete with the best players from abroad. I really believe that programmes such as SupaStrikers will help produce more homegrown talent playing at the highest levels. I wish SupaStrikers had been around when I was a child!”.

Therefore, please have a look around our website to find out more, or contact us to either book a place or ask any questions you may have.
