SupaStrikers: About Us

SupaStrikers is a football-based activity for children aged 2-4 years, which takes the form of weekly INDOOR sessions. As well as learning core football and movement skills, children also develop their awareness of shapes, colours, simple numbers and social skills. Depending upon their age, children belong to either MiniStrikers or MegaStrikers (pre-school year). Our coaching teams are CRB-checked and have extensive experience working with this age group, as well as football coaching skills. We usually work with a maximum group size of 10-12 children of a similar age (depending upon the venue). However, to ensure individual attention for each child, our bench mark ratio is 6 children per coach.

We believe children learn best through having fun. Therefore, our sessions are lively and interactive. Stability within the group is also important and we operate on a membership basis to ensure that the children see familiar faces each time. Parents/Carers are encouraged to join in, especially with the younger MiniStrikers. The programme and equipment are specifically designed for this age group, and there is no ‘heavy’ coaching. However, members will learn lots of skills that will really benefit their future physical and sporting development. Progression to one of our partner organisations will be a natural next step for many members.
