SupaStrikers: Visits to Playgroups

We are able to visit your playgroup or nursery on either a ‘one-off’ or regular basis, to provide an exciting session for children in their pre-school year. We regulary visit the following early years providers:

Kingsholm Early Years Centre Leckhampton Road Playgroup

Winchcombe Playgroup Deerhurst & Apperley Playgroup

Longney CoE Primary School Pre-School Group St Mary's Playgroup, Churchdown

For a ‘one-off’ session we will provide a 45 minute football-based physical play session, requiring no previous experience of football

For regular visits, we will operate our main, progressive fun programme which will actually result in the children developing their football skills. Alternatively, we can facilitate a general physical play session that is less football-oriented. These sessions are also 45 minutes in length.

All of our coaches who facilitate these visits understand the environment of a playgroup or nursery and are able to adapt their style to fit with your group’s ethos and approach, thereby ensuring consistency with your normal approach towards the children.

Rachel Cowling, Leader of Winchcombe Pre-School Playgroup recommends SupaStrikers: “Having initially enrolled my own son into SupaStrikers, I was extremely impressed with their quality, dedication, and genuine understanding of this age group and early-learning goals. Therefore, I have been delighted for Winchcombe Playgroup to work in partnership with SupaStrikers; we now have a specific playgroup session for 12 children every Thursday morning and have other children/parents who would love to join as soon as space becomes available. I would whole-heartedly commend SupaStrikers to other playgroups and nurseries”.

You will need to provide a suitable hall-type venue (exact size will affect the number of children we are able to include) and sufficient staff and helpers to meet your normal ratios for working with the agreed number of children. We may be able to run an outdoors session for your group between May-October. At least one senior member of staff MUST be present. (Please note that the adult helpers need to be prepared to actively join in and assist in the running of the session).

Costs: A 45 minute session ranges from £35 - £45 depending upon the frequency of booking, exact location and distance/length of travel for the Coach. For larger size groups, a second Coach may be required at an additional £15.

Payment for ‘one-off’ bookings must be made on the day (a receipt will be provided). Payment for regular bookings can either be paid on the day, or a discount of up to 15% will be given if multiple sessions are booked and paid for in advance.
